Kathy's kitchen, on the beach.

Our menu has been handcrafted and refined over years — bringing together the best year-round local ingredients with Kathy's experience running a successful organic café in Australia before this one. The Caesar salad people argue is the best in the world. The Maubere Mountain Coffee is roasted up the hill from us. The kids' plates are big enough that small kids actually eat them.

Open from 7am for breakfast, through lunch, and into a beach bar by sundown. On Friday and Saturday nights the screen comes out for free outdoor cinema on the sand. The cocktail list is short on purpose; the wine list is shorter. Both are well chosen.

Eggs Benedict

Poached eggs, smoked bacon or wilted spinach, hollandaise, sourdough.

Eggs Florentine

Poached eggs on greens with hollandaise and sourdough.

Avocado toast

Smashed avo on sourdough with feta, lemon and chilli.

Bacon and eggs

Two eggs your way, smoked bacon, grilled tomato, sourdough.

Pancakes / French toast

Stack of three with maple, berries, and double cream.

Scones with cream and jam

Made fresh in-house. Best with the morning coffee.

The Caesar

The one people argue about — cos, anchovy, parmesan, slow-cooked egg, our dressing. Add chicken or grilled prawns.

Greek salad

Tomato, cucumber, olives, capsicum, oregano, feta. Lemon and oil.

Poke bowl

Sashimi-grade tuna, sushi rice, edamame, avocado, sesame, soy-ginger.

Buddha bowl

Brown rice, roast veg, hummus, pickles, seeds, tahini.

Pressed sandwiches

Daily — ham/cheese, mediterranean veg, chicken-and-pesto.

Burgers — beef · veggie · falafel

Brioche, tomato relish, salad, hand-cut chips.

Grass-fed eye fillet, mash or chips, peppercorn or béarnaise.

Pan-seared with greens, lemon, herb butter.

Layered basmati, marinated tofu, fried shallots, raita.

Walk-ins are welcome any time. Bookings recommended for Friday and Saturday cinema nights and groups of six or more.

Yes — we mark the menu and the kitchen will substitute on most dishes. Falafel burgers, Buddha bowls, spiced tofu biryani, salads — plenty of options. Tell the waiter what you can't eat.

USD cash is best. Card terminals exist but coverage is patchy in Dili — bring cash for any restaurant in town.
