Dili sits 320 nautical miles north of Darwin — close enough to be a one-hour ferry turnaround on the way to Asia, and just far enough to be the start of something new. Avgas and Jet A1 are available; permits, paperwork, and crew accommodation are what we handle.
If you're staying longer, Timor-Leste has nine airports (three international, the rest suited to STOL aircraft) and a country full of great exploring, diving, and down-to-earth tourism. We can help you turn a refuel into a week, or a week into a route map.
The Beachside compound is a 25-minute drive from Presidente Nicolau Lobato airport. Cool rooms, hot breakfast, daily laundry, sundowner on the deck. Crews tell us they sleep well.

Aircraft permits
Civil aviation permits for entering Timor-Leste airspace and landing — submitted with two weeks' notice, or seven days at an urgent fee.
Fuel
Avgas and Jet A1 available at Dili. Pre-coordination keeps turnaround tight.
Customs & immigration
Crew documentation handled in advance. Visa-on-arrival for most passport holders; we'll confirm yours before you leave.
Crew accommodation
Rooms at Beachside on Areia Branca beach — quiet, secure, with daily laundry and a 7am breakfast for early departures.
Adventure planning
If you're staying longer than a refuel, we'll help map an itinerary across Timor's nine airports — diving, hiking, the south coast, Atauro Island.
Local pickup
Driver pickup at the airport on request. Just send your tail number and ETA.
Permit documentation
To process your permit, we need the following at least two weeks before arrival (or seven days at an urgent fee):
- Aircraft registration and current airworthiness certificate
- Insurance documentation
- Pilot and crew licences
- Passport copies for all crew
- Vaccination certificates as required
- Flight routing in UTC
